Blueberry Peach Smoothie

Oatmeal adds a depth of nutty, earthy flavor to this delicious smoothie with blueberries and peaches.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches or frozen peaches remove the pits from fresh peaches if using
  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond coconut milk or water may need to add an extra 1/2 cup if using all frozen fruit
  • 5 ice cubes if using all fresh fruit
  • Honey to taste

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve immediately. Voila!

Notes

Recipe Notes
Fresh ripe peaches are naturally sweeter than frozen peaches.
Frozen blueberries are much sweeter than fresh blueberries as they are frozen at peak ripeness.
If you prefer a more frozen smoothie texture, hold back on some of the yogurt, then add up to 1/2 cup to the blender until the perfect texture for you is reached.
You may need to add more liquid if your smoothie isn't blending.
