Oatmeal Molasses Chocolate Chip Cookies

These scrumptious, chewy, and flavorful Oatmeal Molasses Chocolate Chip Cookies are a twist on the classic cookie.

Molasses, vanilla, oats, and chocolate chips blend together with the rest of the ingredients to make the most delectable cookies!

One simple step changes the texture of this cookie for the better! Pulverize the oats for a few seconds to keep them course but not whole.

Cream the butter and sugar together first, and then add the molasses, vanilla, and egg. Once that is mixed together, add the pulverized oats and chocolate chips.

Form the dough into equally sized two-inch balls and bake at 350 for 8 to 9 minutes or until they are just set.

It’s better to under bake and sacrifice one cookie to check for doneness.  I prefer my cookies a tad under-baked for ultra gooey-ness.
